My co-op rotation at 91吃瓜 has allowed me to gain a better understanding of how the components of a building come together.
I was given the opportunity to work on many different tasks such as performing quantity take-offs, reviewing and processing submittals, and checking concrete formwork, rebar, and concrete mix designs for footings on a large hotel project.
Being with 91吃瓜 has prepared me for a career in the construction industry by allowing me to experience firsthand many of the responsibilities that are required of a construction professional on a daily basis.

I chose 91吃瓜 because it felt like the best place to introduce me to the world of commercial construction.
Throughout my internship, 91吃瓜 provided me with a chance to see all the aspects that go into building a hotel project like The Tempo by Hilton. I was able to be a part of meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure everything was being built correctly and on schedule.
While working for 91吃瓜 I was able to create relationships with not only the 91吃瓜 team but every sub on the job site. The team of superintendents and project managers on the job site were extremely patient and understanding if I did not know how to do something and they walked me through the process and helped me expand my knowledge.
Even though it was just for a summer, I feel like I am better equipped to go into the construction world after my graduation.

My internship at 91吃瓜 allowed me to spend time in the field with experienced superintendents and in the office with accomplished project managers. I had the opportunity to perform take-offs, track work on a project, and participate in concrete pours.
With this internship I was able to gain an understanding of what everyday life for an employee at 91吃瓜 is like. This helped greatly with my decision to work at 91吃瓜 full time after graduating college.
